In this thesis research assignment this string matching method is used to detect an existing document or data. This algorithm is chosen because string matching is the best method to get the same data between document text both in terms of accuracy or performance. String matching is one method of document fingerprinting that is used to detect similarities between document text using hashing techniques. In response to this, through the task of this thesis the author builds a system that can be used to detect plagiarism between thesis titles, namely by string matching methods. Plagiarism in the title of thesis research is very much happening in the digital era like this.
